KOI- The Vibes
The KOI pop up store in the Macquarie centre had very elegant and calming vibes due to the shop’s architecture as well as the staff’s professionalism.

The KOI pop-up store in Macquarie centre although small, stood elegantly against the surrounding fooderies. KOI has clearly demonstrated careful consideration towards the design of the pop-up store as it’s boxy white frames and holographic colour succinctly creates contrast against other more vibrant shops. The use of holographic pink and blue is a clever design as it portrays a Japanese Koi fish in water, adding depth and story to simple aesthetics.

The KOI staff which stood behind the display counter was dressed in a black KOI apron and was smiling welcomingly to our team. Due to the variations and amount of aesthetically pleasing mini cakes, tiramisus and sweet creations, it was difficult to decide on what we wanted to purchase. However, the staff did not place pressure on us to pick out a dessert and grinned polietly making us feel reassured. All of which contributed to their welcoming and elegant vibes.
